The LawMate PV-RC200HDW Camera System, a 1080p high definition key-fob, new 5 mega-pixel HD sensor and now with built-in Wi-Fi. 
 
This is LawMate's 5th generation key fob, an upgrade to the popular PV-RC200HD2. The new RC200HDW now provides Wi-Fi connectivity to smart devices, in addition to 1080p high definition capture, 5 mega pixel snapshots, and a new Wide Dynamic Range sensor (WDR). The RC200HDW now has a heavier, higher-quality feel about it, thanks to a whole new design.
 
A high-resolution CMOS sensor is coupled to a digital video recorder inside the key fob DVR.
 
The best part about this device is that you may keep it on your key ring without fear of it being discovered. The remote DVR will start up and be ready to record video or capture still photographs in about 2 - 3 seconds after pressing a button. This key fob DVR covert camera will vibrate fast to notify you of its activity (this feature is switchable).
 
The footage is recorded to the included 16GB Micro SD card, which can store approximately 4 hours of video and thousands of still photographs. MicroSD cards with a capacity of up to 32GB can be used.
Unlike many other devices we've encountered, the RC200HDW records in 1920x1080 resolution (at 30fps) or 1280x720 resolution (at 60fps), resulting in exceptionally clear and smooth video and superb sound. The video is watermarked with a time and date stamp, much like all LawMate covert recording devices.
 
You may connect the RC200HDW to any computer using the accompanying USB cable to watch the video you've recorded or look at the images you've shot. You can use the gadget as a mass storage device (card reader) to play and watch your videos. You may also use the new smart device application software to review recorded footage over a Wi-Fi connection.
 
The benefit of Wi-Fi:

With the ability of Wi-Fi connectivity, you can instantly review the footage you have captured on a smartphone or tablet and you can live-stream the video content up to a distance of 5 metres. The Wi-Fi connectivity permits the user to download the captured content wirelessly. The Wi-Fi application also allows full control over the device, including resolution settings (1080p/720p/VGA), the ability to set and synchronise the time and date with your smart device, format the SD card and start/stop recording. Once the device is set-up, you can also ‘hide the SSID’ so no one else can find your RC200HDW key fob wirelessly.
